About the Conference
4th Business Conference “Transport & Logistics of South East Europe and Danube Region – TIL 2017” will take place under the auspices of Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Republic of Serbia in Sava Centre, Belgrade on 5th April 2017.

Business Conference 'TIL 2017`, with the presence and participation of the relevant transport and logistics market stakeholders, will provide the environment for the continuance of the dialogue as well as direct exchange of ideas, knowledge and experiences in order to find optimal business solutions for the sustainable development of transport and logistics infrastructure as key factors of economic progress South East Europe and Danube region.

In accordance with EU strategies, for further development and improvement of transport and logistics industry, innovative initiatives and new projects will be presented as special emphasis will be placed on topics:
  • European Strategy on Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS), as a milestone towards cooperative, connected and automated mobility
  • Improvements of intermodal transport through increased mobility of rail, road and air transport in South East Europe and Danube region
  • Development of regional transport network, transport infrastructure and investment potentials
  • Directive “Eurovignette” and the effect on road transport
  • Advanced management in the field of security and safety in transport and logistics industry
  • European Rail Traffic Management System European Deployment Plan (ERTMS EDP) – improvement in safety and connectivity, leading to a more efficient and customer-responsive industry
  • ICPDR Project FAIRway - Expansion in transport capacity of the Danube and its tributaries
  • SESAR - Air Traffic Management modernization, the employment of new technologies and contribution to capacity, cost, high security as well as the objective 'EU single sky'
  • Harmonizing legislation framework in the field of transport and logistics
  • Integrated flexible logistics services with efficient transport and movement of goods

TIL 2017 is expected to host over 400 participants, among whom will be: senior representatives of relevant state institutions and professional associations from South East Europe and Danube Region, EU, Turkey, Russia, China ... international experts in the field of sustainable development and business in the freight forwarding, transportation and logistics, decision-makers the leading companies in the field of shipping, logistics and road, rail, air and water transport, representatives of financial institutions, insurance companies, local governments, educational institutions, the media and other major stakeholders in the transport and logistics market.

The participants will, within one day event, through several parallel segments (Plenary part, B2B meetings, Round Table), have the opportunity to improve business conditions and in accordance with the primary interests of the industry, entrepreneurs and professionals, with their knowledge and practical experience, promote new initiatives and business opportunities, set guidelines for the improvements of the market through networking, harmonization of individual and common interests.
